What Is CranioSacral Therapy (CST)?CranioSacral Therapy(CST) is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the physiological body system (also called the craniosacral system). This system is comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a light touch, generally no greater than 5 grams, practioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system. This has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as other body systems, such as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory and more.

How can CranioSacral Therapy (CST) help my baby?CranioSacral Therapy (CST) offers a unique approach to healing. The techniques focus on releasing tightness and tension any where in the body that may be contributing to difficulties with feeding, torticollis, plagiocephaly, nervous system regulation, digestion, fussiness/colic, and musculoskeletal restrictions. CST can minimize or eliminate the repercussions of a difficult or traumatic birth. CST specifically helps baby's with feeding difficulties by improving relaxation and mobility in tongue, jaw, cheeks, lips and palate. It helps to optimize mobility before frenectomy procedures and supports healing and improved function afterwards. I believe that CST helps to enhance the body’s natural healing abilities, allowing babies and their families to find peace and relaxation.

Do you accept and/or bill insurance?I am able to provide a super bill that includes all of the necessary information for you to submit directly to your private insurance carrier (including HSA, FSA, etc). I do not bill insurance directly. When you submit the superbill to your insurance carrier, it will likely go towards your out of network benefits.
-
What forms of payment do you accept?I accept cash, check, Venmo or Zelle. At this time I do not accept card payments.

What should I take into consideration for coverage of in-network and out-of-network services/treatment?If your treatment is from an out-of-network provider, you may need to meet your out-of-network deductible before your insurance starts covering costs of Physical Therapy. The out-of-network deductible is the amount you must pay out of pocket for covered services before your insurance plan begins to contribute. Here are steps to consider regarding meeting your out-of-network deductible: Review Your Insurance Policy: Understand the specifics of your insurance plan. Look for details on in-network and out-of-network coverage, deductibles, co-pays, and coinsurance. Determine Out-of-Network Coverage: Find out what your plan covers for out-of-network providers. Some plans may cover a portion of out-of-network costs after the deductible is met, while others may not cover them at all. Check Deductible Status: Determine if you've already met your out-of-network deductible for the year. If not, you'll likely need to meet it before your insurance starts covering out-of-network treatment costs. Even if you get treatment from an in-network provider, it important to understand your Physical Therapy benefits. You may have to meet your deductible before you can receive coverage for treatment. You may also have a co-payment or co-insurance for each treatment. You may call in-network providers to find out what the cost is for an evaluation and treatment to help you determine what your out of pocket cost might be for treatment. My charges are below local clinic charges so that out of pocket expenses are often very similar.

Do you offer discounts or a sliding scale?I offer discounted sessions of $60 if your insurance is through Medicaid or Tricare. These insurances to not allow you to submit a superbill for out of network coverage. I offer a 10% discount on 3 sessions. You can either pay in advance for all three ($270) or you can get a discount of $30 on the third session. If you need a sliding scale please reach out to me personally. I am happy to work with each family based on their individual needs.
